Sync Placements & Curation
Since 2018, Niyah has placed/managed music for film & TV both independently and with publishing houses.
As a music curator for a Netherlands-based music video company XITE, Niyah lead the initiative of curating XITE’s playlists into Comcasts’ UX.
They have also provided specialty audio programming and pre/post-production interviews for 80s on 8, On Broadway and Studio 54’s Freestyle dance channel on SiriusXM.
Advocacy Work
All of Niyah’s creative mediums have one common factor: providing a platform for those who need it. She has previously raised funds for SWers, black, trans and queer organizations through donation-based yoga classes and DJ sets. Her curation and work in sync focuses on indie artists that want to break through and putting others on to rare music
